Top-Down Estimation

P6 Professional 8.3 provides functionality to perform top-down estimation using estimation weights for WBS elements and activities. When performing top-down estimations, specify the labor or nonlabor units to apply to the project or WBS element. According to the estimation weights you define, the units are distributed in a top-down manner, via the WBS, to the project’s activities.

In the Tools menu in P6 Professional, click Top Down Estimation.
