User Feedback

The OAUX team relies on direct feedback from customers and partners to ensure that the Oracle cloud user experience is intuitive and easy to use. By holding the onsite usability lab at user group and thought-leadership events, and via remote feedback sessions globally, we are able to collaborate with individuals just like you to test the latest cloud applications, collect honest feedback on their usability, and influence the future of Oracle’s applications design.

I liked the opportunity to influence early designs and being challenged in my conventions of working,
and to think about how best to perform routine tasks that I may have taken for granted.

– Luis Figueira, CX Cloud Lead, Boxfusion Consulting

What goes into user research?

In developing cloud applications with a simplified and user-friendly user experience, Oracle invests a significant amount of time and energy into user research activities. Obtaining feedback is the best way to ensure that the user experience keeps moving forward as new technology is introduced that could influence the way our applications work. Involvement in the onsite usability lab can include participating in an interactive focus group, letting an Oracle usability researcher observe you in your natural environment (in the office and on the go for work) in an ethnographic research study, or walking through a proposed design in-depth in a one-on-one session. Learn more about Oracle’s research methodology (from design jams to guerrilla research), and help us continue to design our applications with a focus on simplicity, mobility, and extensibility.

I liked the session. The mobile app is very easy to use — clear overview on the screen.
It can be used without any training or explanation, and that is exactly what I expect from a mobile app.

– Janny Ekelson, President of OBUG & Manager, Applications & Architecture
