Description: AP Specimen Protocol
Definition: This reference table contains the optional default processing task protocols that can be established for a specific specimen, pathologist, and/or case prefix.

Column Detail - AP_SPECIMEN_PROTOCOL


Column Name Type Null? Definition
PATHOLOGIST_ID DOUBLE N If the processing protocol is associated with a pathologist, this field contains the user's internal ID value. This value could be used to join to personnel information on the PRSNL or PERSON tables.
PREFIX_ID DOUBLE N If the processing protocol is associated with a case prefix value, this field contains the internal ID associated with the prefix. This foreign key value could be used to join to prefix information included on the AP_PREFIX reference table.
PROTOCOL_ID DOUBLE N This field uniquely identifies the row (the protocol) included on the AP_SPECIMEN_PROTOCOL table.
SPECIMEN_CD DOUBLE N If the processing protocol is associated with a specimen, this field contains the specimen's internal ID value. This value could be used to join to specimen information stored in codeset 1306.
UPDT_APPLCTX DOUBLE N The application context number from the record info block.
UPDT_CNT DOUBLE N Set to 0 on insert. Incremented by 1 on update. Used to recognize update conflict where data in a row updated by one application is at risk of being lost by a second application attempting to update the row.
UPDT_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time the row was last inserted or updated.
UPDT_ID DOUBLE N The person_id of the person from the personnel table (prsnl) that caused the last insert or update of the row in the table.
UPDT_TASK DOUBLE N The registered (assigned) task number for the process that inserted or updated the row.

Definition: This Reference Table defines the association between AP synoptic worksheets and AP report sections. This relationship is used to determine which section of an AP report can receive the generated synoptic text for a specific AP synoptic worksheet.

Definition: This reference table defines the association between AP synoptic worksheets and specimen/prefix combinations. This relationship is used to determine which synoptic worksheets can be resulted for a pathology case/specimen type combination.

CKI_IDENTIFIER VARCHAR(50) N External identifier for the AP synoptic worksheet, used with the CKI_SOURCE column to form a unique external identifier.
CKI_SOURCE CHAR(12) N External source for the AP synoptic worksheet, used with CKI_IDENTIFIER to form a unique external identifier.
PREFIX_ID DOUBLE N This field identifies the prefix to which synoptic worksheets are defined. It is valid for this column to be zero when synoptic worksheets are defined at the specimen level only.
SEQUENCE DOUBLE N This field defines the sequence for synoptic worksheets associates with a specimen/prefix combination.
SPECIMEN_CD DOUBLE N This field identifies the code value for the AP specimen. The combinations of the specimen_cd and prefix_id columns are used to define valid synoptic worksheets.
SUGGESTED_FLAG DOUBLE N This field defines whether the synoptic worksheet is allowed or suggested. Suggested indicates that the worksheet will automatically be defaulted in for entry when a pathology case is accessioned for a given prefix/specimen combination.

Definition: This reference table includes the parameters established for system selected correlation events. Each entry describes a set of circumstances under which the system will initiate diagnostic correlation events to be correlated.

ACTIVE_IND DOUBLE N The table row is active or inactive. A row is generally active unless it is in an inactive state such as logically deleted, combined away, pending purge, etc.
ASSIGN_TO_GROUP_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the internal identification of the personnel group to which a correlation study is to be assigned. This field can be used to join to the PRSNL_GROUP table.
ASSIGN_TO_GROUP_IND DOUBLE N This indicator field is used to determine whether the initiated study is to be assigned to a group or will be defaulted to group assignment.
ASSIGN_TO_PRSNL_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the internal identification of the person to which a correlation study is to be assigned. This field can be used to join to the PRSNL table.
ASSIGN_TO_VERIFYING_IND DOUBLE Y This indicator fields is used to determine whether the correlation event should be assigned to the person verifying the Pathology report.
CASE_PERCENTAGE DOUBLE N This field contains the percentage of times a system initiated correlation event will be triggered upon parameter qualification.
EXECUTE_ON_RESCREEN_IND DOUBLE N This indicator field is used to determine whether all attempts to verify a cytology report should be evaluated against a system correlation trigger.
LOOKBACK_ALL_CASES_IND DOUBLE N This indicator field is used to determine whether all cases or only the most recent case should qualify for a system correlation trigger.
LOOKBACK_CASE_TYPE_CD DOUBLE N This field contains the internal identification code for the type of cases to look back for.
LOOKBACK_MONTHS DOUBLE N This field indicates the number of months to look back for qualifying cases.
NOTIFY_USER_ONLINE_IND DOUBLE N This indicator field is used to determine whether the user should be notified online when the system initiates a correlation study.
STUDY_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the internal identification code for the correlation study to be initiated upon qualification.
STUDY_SEQUENCE DOUBLE N This field in used in conjunction with the STUDY_ID column in order to identify a single correlation parameter set.
SYS_CORR_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the internal identification code that uniquely identifies the 'system correlation' and its associated parameters. This value is used to join to the AP_SYS_CORR_DETAIL and AP_SYS_CORR_COUNTS tables.
