ACTIVE_STATUS_CD DOUBLE N Indicates the status of the row itself (not the data in the row) such as active, inactive, combined away, pending purge, etc.
ACTIVE_STATUS_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time that the active_status_cd was set.
ACTIVE_STATUS_PRSNL_ID DOUBLE N The person who caused the active_status_cd to be set or change.
ALL_RESULTS_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether all of the patient's results for this discrete task assay should be printed on the transfusion committee report.
INV_AREA_CD DOUBLE N The location (inventory area) of products to which this transfusion committee parameter applies.
OWNER_CD DOUBLE N The location (owner area) of products to which this transfusion committee parameter applies.
POST_HOURS DOUBLE Y Defines the number of hours before the transfusion for which results of this discrete task assay should print for the patient transfused. (NO LONGER USED)
PRE_HOURS DOUBLE Y Defines the number of hours before the transfusion for which results of this discrete task assay should print for the patient transfused. (NO LONGER USED in Rev 5)
PRODUCT_CD DOUBLE N The code value that represents the type of product for which transfusion committee criteria is defined. An example of a product type is "Red Blood Cells".
SINGLE_HOURS DOUBLE Y NO LONGER USED IN REV 5. Replaced with SINGLE_PRE_HOURS and SINGLE_POST_HOURS. Will be removed completely in Rev 6.
SINGLE_POST_HOURS DOUBLE N Identifies the number of hours post-transfusion that define this type of product as being a "single transfusion".
SINGLE_PRE_HOURS DOUBLE N Identifies the number of hours pre-transfusion that define this type of product as being a "single transfusion".
SINGLE_TRANS_IND DOUBLE N Indicates whether single transfusions should be reported for this type of product transfused.
TASK_ASSAY_CD DOUBLE N The code value representing the discrete task assay defined that should be reported for transfusions of a certain type of product.
TRANS_COMMIT_ID DOUBLE N An internal system-assigned number that is the primary key to this table, and ensures the uniqueness of each row.
UPDT_APPLCTX DOUBLE N The application context number from the record info block.
UPDT_CNT DOUBLE N Set to 0 on insert. Incremented by 1 on update. Used to recognize update conflict where data in a row updated by one application is at risk of being lost by a second application attempting to update the row.
UPDT_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time the row was last inserted or updated.
UPDT_ID DOUBLE N The person_id of the person from the personnel table (prsnl) that caused the last insert or update of the row in the table.

Description: Transfusion Requirements
Definition: A reference of valid transfusion requirements that can pertain to patients. This includes antibodies as well as other requirements, such as irradiated blood needed, CMV negative blood needed, etc.

ACTIVE_STATUS_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time that the active_status_cd was set.
ACTIVE_STATUS_PRSNL_ID DOUBLE N The person who caused the active_status_cd to be set or change.
ANTI_D_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether a particular transfusion requirement is the one for Anti-D. This determines how the antigen/antibody validation should work at the time of dispense. If this indicator is set, then the validation will check the Rh type of the product being dispensed, for being negative.
CHART_NAME VARCHAR(40) Y The chart name of the transfusion requirement. (Currently not used).
CODESET DOUBLE Y The number of the codeset from which this transfusion requirement originated, since a transfusion requirement could be an antibody. The two valid code sets for this column are 1611 and 1613. Codeset 1611 is for transfusion requirements that are not antibodies, and codeset 1613 is for antibodies.
DESCRIPTION VARCHAR(50) Y A textual description of the transfusion requirement, as entered by the user in the database tool "AntibodyTool".
REQUIREMENT_CD DOUBLE N The actual transfusion requirement, whether it be an antibody or other type of transfusion requirement (ex. "CMV Negative", "Irradiation", etc.). This value comes from codeset 1613 if is it an antibody, as indicated by the CODESET column on this table.
SIGNIFICANCE_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether this antibody is clinically significant or not, used during an electronic crossmatch. A value of 1 indicates clinical significance. A value of 0 indicates no clinical significance.

TRANS_COMMIT_ID DOUBLE N Identifies the row on the transfusion_committee table for which this row is associated. This is done to link the discrete task assay information defined on this table to the transfusion_committee table, where the product type is defined. It is an internal system-assigned number.

ALLOW_OVERRIDE_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether the Dispense application should allow the user to override this transfusion requirement when the product does not have the attribute necessary for this transfusion requirement. An example is the transfusion requirement of the antibody "Kell" on the patient, when the product to be dispensed has not been typed "Kell Negative".
RELATIONSHIP_ID DOUBLE N The primary key of this table. An internal system-assigned number that ensures the uniqueness of each row.
REQUIREMENT_CD DOUBLE N The specific transfusion requirement for which this relationship is defined. Refers to items built on the TRANSFUSION_REQUIREMENT table.
SPECIAL_TESTING_CD DOUBLE N The attribute associated with the transfusion requirement that must be present on the product to be dispensed to a patient with the transfusion requirement defined on this row . These attributes may be red cell antigens or other types of special testing. Examples are "Kell Negative" and "CMV Negative".
UPDT_APPLCTX DOUBLE N The application context number from the record info block.

INACTIVE_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time that this row became inactive. This column only applies to rows that have been inactivated at some point in time. Inactive rows have the ACTIVE_IND set to 0.
PROCESS_CD DOUBLE N The Cerner-defined process within the Blood Bank for which valid states of products are defined (ex. "Dispense").
STATE_CD DOUBLE N The code value of the state that is defined as a valid state for a product in this category when it is accessed in this process. An example is "crossmatched" being a valid state for products in the "red cell products" category when they are accessed in the "Dispense" application.
