Description: Quality Control Schedule
Definition: This table is used by QCScheduler.dll as the top level table for setting up the QC Schedule for autoverification.

Column Detail - QC_SCHEDULE


Column Name Type Null? Definition
ACTIVE_IND DOUBLE Y The table row is active or inactive. A row is generally active unless it is in an inactive state such as logically deleted, combined away, pending purge, etc.
BEG_EFFECTIVE_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time for which this table row becomes effective. Normally, this will be the date and time the row is added, but could be a past or future date and time.
END_EFFECTIVE_DT_TM DATETIME N The date/time after which the row is no longer valid as active current data. This may be valued with the date that the row became inactive.
ENFORCE_VERIFIED_RESULTS_IND DOUBLE N Indicator to show whether or not all results are subject to quality control schedule restriction before results can be verified.
LOOK_BACK_LIMIT DOUBLE N (Currently not implemented)
MULTI_CONTROL_LIMIT DOUBLE N Defines the maximum time period in which the user must run all of the controls under a single step. (Step Group Time Limit)
QC_SCHEDULE_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies a specific QC schedule for a given instrument.
REMINDER_MINUTES_NBR DOUBLE N A number of minutes before quality control is going to expire and when the user will be notified.
REMINDER_RESULTS_NBR DOUBLE N A number of results that remain before quality control is going to expire and when the user will be notified.
SERVICE_RESOURCE_CD DOUBLE N A unique code value that identifies a specific service resource (i.e. instrument) to which the QC schedule applies.
START_DT_TM DATETIME Y Defines the time used to indicate when the QC cycle is to start each day. The date portion of the field is not used.

TASK_ASSAY_CD DOUBLE N (Currently not implemented)
UPDT_APPLCTX DOUBLE N The application context number from the record info block.
UPDT_CNT DOUBLE N Set to 0 on insert. Incremented by 1 on update. Used to recognize update conflict where data in a row updated by one application is at risk of being lost by a second application attempting to update the row.
UPDT_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time the row was last inserted or updated.
UPDT_ID DOUBLE N The person_id of the person from the personnel table (prsnl) that caused the last insert or update of the row in the table.
UPDT_TASK DOUBLE N The registered (assigned) task number for the process that inserted or updated the row.

QC_SCHEDULE_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the specific QC schedule. Creates a relationship to the QC schedule table.
STEP_NBR DOUBLE N Defines the step number associated with the control.

Definition: Stores the statistics accumulated for a given period time, assay, and control.

ABNORMAL_CNT DOUBLE Y Defines the number of alpha responses that were abnormal for the given statistical range.
ARL_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the service resource, discrete task assay, and control lot associated with the QC statistics period. Creates a relationship to the assay resource lot table.
BEG_DT_TM DATETIME Y Defines the beginning date and time for the range of statistical information.
CONTROL_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies a specific control material associated with the QC statistical period. Creates a relationship to the control material table.
CO_VAR DOUBLE Y Stores the statistic for coefficient of variation.
END_DT_TM DATETIME Y Defines the ending date and time for the range of statistical information.
FREQUENCY_FLAG DOUBLE Y Defines the frequency of the statistics that have been accumulated.
F_VAL DOUBLE Y Stores the statistic for the f-value.
LOT_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the specific quality control lot associated with the statistical period. Creates a relationship to the control lot table.
MEAN DOUBLE Y Stores the mean for the given statistical range.
NORMAL_CNT DOUBLE Y Defines the number of alpha responses that were normal for the given statistical range.
OPS_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether the statistical period was requested by an operations process. A value of 0 indicates the statistical period was requested manually or ad hoc. A value of 1 indicates the statistical period was requested by operations.
PDM_PARAM_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the specific patient data monitoring parameters used to create the QC result. Creates a relationship to the patient data monitoring parameters table.
PDM_RANGE_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the specific patient data monitoring range parameters (such as species, gender, and age) used to create the QC result. Creates a relationship to the patient data monitoring ranges table.
QC_RESULT_TYPE_FLAG DOUBLE Y Defines the type of quality control result.
QC_STAT_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies a specific statistical period.
QC_STAT_TYPE_CD DOUBLE N A unique code value that identifies the specific type of statistics being accumulated. (Currently not implemented)
RESULTS_INC_FLAG DOUBLE Y Defines what result values were included in the statistical range.
RESULT_CNT DOUBLE Y Defines the number of results included for the given statistical range.
REVIEW_CNT DOUBLE Y Defines the number of alpha responses that were flagged for review for the given statistical range.
SERIES_INTERVAL_NBR DOUBLE N This is the interval value used when the user chose to use the analytical series to calculate statistics.
SERIES_SEQUENCE_NBR DOUBLE N This is the sequence value used when the user chose to use the analytical series to calculate statistics.
SERVICE_RESOURCE_CD DOUBLE N A unique code value that identifies the specific service resource used for the given statistical period.
SERVICE_RESOURCE_GROUP_IND DOUBLE Y Indicates whether QC results were accumulated for a group of service resources. A value of 0 indicates the results were accumulated for a specific service resource. A value of 1 indicates the results were accumulated for a service resource group.
STD_DEV DOUBLE Y Stores the standard deviation statistic for the given statistical period.
SUM_OF_RESULTS DOUBLE Y Stores the sum of the results for the given statistical period.
SUM_OF_SQUARES DOUBLE Y Stores the sum of the results individually squared for the given statistical period.
TASK_ASSAY_CD DOUBLE N A unique code value that identifies the specific discrete task assay for which statistics were accumulated during the statistical period.

Definition: Table used by autoverification to hold the QC Schedule steps status information. This table will indicate the last step's QC that has been completed for a specific service resource and assay combonation.

Column Detail - QC_STEP_STATUS

CURRENT_RESULTS_NBR DOUBLE N The current number of results performed since this step was complete.
INTERVAL_MIN DOUBLE N This value indicates how long this step is valid. This value is set for each step in QC Scheduler.
QC_STEP_STATUS_ID DOUBLE N A unique, internal, system-assigned number that identifies the status information for a specific QC schedule step.
SERVICE_RESOURCE_CD DOUBLE N Unique code value to indicate the service resource for which this step's QC has been completed.
STEP_COMPLETE_DT_TM DATETIME N Value to hold the date and time this step's QC was completed. This will be the verified date and time of the last QC result entered, which caused this step's QC to be complete.
STEP_EXPIRE_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time this step expires. Written initially as the step_complete_dt_tm + verify_minutes_nbr and then updated to the current date and time when the verify_results_nbr matches the current_results_nbr.
STEP_NBR DOUBLE N The step number for which the QC is complete.
TASK_ASSAY_CD DOUBLE N Unique code value to indicate the procedure for which QC has been completed for the step.
