CASE_TYPE_CD DOUBLE N This field contains the case type value (Autopsy, GYN, Fluid, Surgical, Other) associated with the accession prefix. Case type values are stored on codeset 1301.
SPECIMEN_MEANING VARCHAR(12) N This field contains the Cerner-defined code that is used to present the valid specimens based on the accession prefix. Specimen meanings are stored on codeset 1301. Using this, users can select from only tissue specimens for surgical cases, for example.
UPDT_APPLCTX DOUBLE N The application context number from the record info block.
UPDT_CNT DOUBLE N Set to 0 on insert. Incremented by 1 on update. Used to recognize update conflict where data in a row updated by one application is at risk of being lost by a second application attempting to update the row.
UPDT_DT_TM DATETIME N The date and time the row was last inserted or updated.
UPDT_ID DOUBLE N The person_id of the person from the personnel table (prsnl) that caused the last insert or update of the row in the table.

CASE_SPECIMEN_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the foreign key value used to join to case and specimen information stored on the CASE_SPECIMEN activity table.
CASSETTE_ID DOUBLE N This field uniquely identifies a row included on the CASSETTE table (block/cassette). This field would be used to join to other tables (as a foreign key) such as the SLIDE table.
CASSETTE_TAG_ID DOUBLE N This field contains an identifier referencing the block/cassette identification code associated with the block/cassette.
DISCARD_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time the block was disposed.
DISCARD_REASON_CD DOUBLE N The reason why the block was disposed.
EMBEDDING_MEDIA_CD DOUBLE N This field is not used at this time.
FIXATIVE_CD DOUBLE N If the block/cassette was associated with a fixative, this field includes the identification code associated with the fixative. Fixatives are stored on codeset 1302.
FROZEN_IND DOUBLE Y This field is not used at this time.
LABEL_CREATE_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time the last label was created.

ORIGINAL_STORAGE_DT_TM DATETIME Y The date and time the block was placed in storage.
ORIGIN_MODIFIER CHAR(7) Y If a block modifier value was associated with the processing task that caused the row to be added to the CASSETTE table, the modifier value entered by the user is stored in this field.
OWNER_ID DOUBLE N This field is not used at this time.
PIECES CHAR(3) Y If a number of pieces value was associated with the processing task that cause the row to be added to the CASSETTE table, the number of pieces value entered by the user is stored in this field. The order entry applications default this value to 1.
SECTIONABLE_IND DOUBLE Y This field is not used at this time.
STORAGE_LOCATION_CD DOUBLE N This field is not used at this time.

DIAGNOSTIC_CATEGORY_CD DOUBLE N This field value contains the internal identification code of the diagnostic category associated with the alpha response (nomenclature) code. Diagnostic categories are defined on codeset 1314.
FOLLOWUP_FINAL_INTERVAL DOUBLE Y This field value contains the number of days post report verification that should elapse before a report having the associated alpha response (nomenclature) value for the diagnosis is due for printing on the final overdue follow-up tracking report.

REFERENCE_RANGE_FACTOR_ID DOUBLE N This field contains the foreign key value used to join to the table storing the reference range (alpha response values, in this example) information for the diagnosis alpha response report component.
REQUEUE_FLAG DOUBLE Y This field contains a flag value documenting how (and if) requeueing occurs when a user selects the associated alpha response (nomenclature) value as the diagnosis but where the user has insufficient security to verify (also based on the alpha response).
REQUEUE_SERVICE_RESOURCE_CD DOUBLE N If a requeue to service resource value is defined for the alpha response (nomenclature) code, this field contains the internal identification code associated with the response. This value could be used to join to the location tables and codesets.
