Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) has built a government cloud for the Australian Government, including defence customers and their service providers. Located in Canberra, and offering over 100 services for federal, state, and local government entities, the cloud region is dedicated for Australian Government workloads and isolated from other hyperscale commercial Oracle Cloud regions. Oracle Cloud for Australian Government and Defence has been certified for Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) at PROTECTED level and for Hosting Certification Framework (HCF) at Certified Strategic level, providing assurance to Australian public sector organisations that the cloud region adheres to appropriate security controls.
