Product Description:

Olympus provides a single console to manage a Millennium Platform environment, allowing you to maintain systems across architectural platforms from one location. Olympus unifies many tool sets previously required to administer Millennium Platform, improving manageability and access to critical subsystems in Millennium Platform. Olympus was designed to meet the following objectives:

  • Command and Control: Provides the ability to effectively manage Millennium Platform from a single console. Examples of Command and Control include managing application servers, modifying the Millennium Platform registry, managing print queues, and managing chart requests. Olympus Command and Control streamlines Millennium Platform maintenance by providing troubleshooting and issue resolution toolsets for multiple platforms in a unified console.
  • Monitoring: The Olympus Thresholding and Alerting Engine provides the ability to monitor environments and generate events (SMTP notifications) when thresholds are crossed. Olympus can set thresholds against any captured data point. The Thresholding and Alerting Engine facilitates proactive monitoring of a Millennium Platform environment. Olympus also is capable of autonomously executing Recovery Action scripts that aim to recover from common problem scenarios without user interaction.
  • Performance Analysis: Using the historical data captured by Olympus in combination with Response Time Measurement System (RTMS) data, Olympus allows users to analyze system and application performance. The Olympus dashboard also presents a near real-time view of the overall health of a Millennium Platform environment, color-coded to help quickly identify problems.
