Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPATĀ® Version 2.0 - October 2017

Name of Product:

Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Plug-in vSphere Storage API for Array Integration NAS 2.0.0

Product Description:

This product is a plug-in (kernel module) that runs inside the VMware ESXi servers. The purpose of this product is to offload virtual machine disk file cloning operations to the Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance in order to free up the resources on VMware ESXi servers as well as network bandwidth. By offloading the file cloning operations, this plug-in significantly accelerates the performance of common virtual machine management operations in the VMware vSphere environment. The plug-in does not have any interfaces for end users, and it only interacts with VMware vSphere software. In addition to the plug-in module, this product contains a script, which users can use for initial configuration. This VPAT is applicable only to the configuration script (command line interface) and the text version of the documentation.
