Notices and Disclaimers

You MUST allow electrical and cooling headroom for unforeseen circumstances, component upgrades, and increased computational loads. Please allow for worst-case power conditions. Actual power consumption will vary from the sample workload used in the power calculator. These include, but are not limited to, the factors below. Each of these factors may cause significant differences in power consumption:

  • Actual workload and its fluctuations
  • Ambient temperature
  • Cooling patterns
  • Excessive inlet temperature
  • Humidity
  • Operating systems features
  • Power management settings

The "Max Operating Power (35°C)" results shown represent the power consumption measurements with CPUs at 100% load and with DE3 Disk Trays at 35C° ambient temperature. The "Typical Power (24°C)" results shown represent the power consumption measurements with CPUs at 60% load and the DE3 Disk Trays at 24°C ambient temperature. Sample results shown are representative of measurements taken at 24°C for Typical and 35°C for Max. System power can vary depending upon hardware/software configurations and environmental conditions. For precise results, actual measurements based upon the exact hardware/software/environmental conditions are recommended.
