Name of Product: Automated Cartridge System Library Software 8.1 Alternate Titles:
This VPAT applies to only version 8.1. It does not apply to any versions of Automated Cartridge System Library Software after this. ACSLS (Automated Cartridge System Library Software) is a control server for Oracle StorageTek tape libraries. The ACSLS server accepts client requests for tape mounts and dismounts and related library operations. It provides APIs for client tape applications (such as backup software) using tcp/ip/rpc, and SCSI. It offers a command-line interface for most operational functions and most administrative functions. It offers a web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for many operational functions and for some administrative functions involving logical libraries. This VPAT does not cover the following product areas: Installation and configuration of ACSLS is accomplished by command-line Unix shell utilities accessed via keyboard and monitor. Please refer to Appendix-N of the ACSLS 8.1 Administrator's Guide When running on Microsoft Windows, the Java Access Bridge for Windows must be installed to support assistive technologies. Steps required to configure accessibility modes in ACSLS. GUI Tree Menu The ACSLS GUI allows for an expanded or collapsed tree menu. By collapsing the tree menu, the complexity of the menu is hidden behind a few initial selections which become expanded as the menu portions are selected. But for sight-impaired users who may rely on keyboard navigation or an audio summary of the menu, a collapsed tree menu may keep large portions of the GUI hidden from view. To enable an expanded tree menu, follow this procedure:
