Executive Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Health and Life Sciences
Seema Verma is the executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, where she’s responsible for Oracle's clinical and clinical trials applications portfolio.
Seema was the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from 2017 to 2021. In this role, she developed and implemented the federal administration's healthcare strategic plan to advance value-based care, innovation, interoperability, and price transparency while reducing drug prices and regulations through her historic Patients over Paperwork initiative.
Prior to her role at CMS, Seema founded and sold a national consulting company and worked as a vice president for policy and planning for a public hospital, public health department, and health system.
She is currently a director on the board of behavioral health company LifeStance and serves on the USC Price School Board of Councilors. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
