The Oracle Linux KVM image for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) simplifies the deployment of virtual machines using Oracle Cloud resources by integrating with block storage and virtual network interfaces (VNIC) services through the use of tooling and automation.

Oracle Linux KVM instances can be easily launched on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using the embedded Marketplace. You can deploy the image directly from the Marketplace on your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute instance. To access the image on the Marketplace from the OCI console, click the top left navigation menu, select Marketplace and under All Applications, search for the Oracle Linux KVM Image application. Click through the launch instructions to easily deploy the instance within minutes.

The Oracle Linux KVM image is also accessible from the public Oracle Cloud Marketplace and the Oracle Images catalog from the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
