Oracle Database Migration Assistant for Unicode: Downloads

Oracle Database Migration Assistant for Unicode (DMU) is written in Java and is supported on selected Microsoft Windows and Unix-based platforms for which Java SE Development Kit 11 is available. See the page Supported Configurations for more details. The download package is platform-independent, though it contains four Microsoft Windows-specific startup executables dmu32.exe, dmuW32.exe, dmu64.exe and dmuW64.exe and a Unix-specific startup shell script dmu.sh. JDK Support

Oracle Database Migration Assistant for Unicode requires Java SE Development Kit (JDK) in version 11. Ensure you have a JDK installed. On 64-bit Microsoft Windows platforms, use a 64-bit Oracle JDK and a 64-bit DMU executable: dmu64.exe or dmuW64.exe. On 32-bit Microsoft Windows platforms, use a 32-bit Oracle JDK and a 32-bit DMU executable: dmu32.exe or dmuW32.exe. See the page Getting Started for download instructions.

Database Patches

To migrate a database with help of the Oracle Database Migration Assistant for Unicode, you may first need to install a dedicated patch to the database Oracle Home. See the page Supported Configurations for the patch number and the page Getting Started for download and installation instructions.
