JMC 5.5 no longer bundled with JDK 7 and JDK 8

As of Jul 14, 2020 updates to JDK 7 and JDK 8 (7u271 and 8u261) no longer bundle Java Mission Control.

Users of JMC 5.5 should update to JDK Mission Control 8.

JMC 8 is available as a compressed archive (zip for Windows and tar.gz for macOS and Linux), and requires JDK 11 or later to run.

Starting with JDK 8, JDK Mission Control is provided as a separate download.

JMC 8 allows you to monitor JDK 7u40 and later (including JDK 8, JDK 11, and JDK 14), offers automatic analysis capabilities, improved UI, and other enhancements.
