Name of Product: Oracle Communications Connector for Microsoft Outlook 8.0.2.0.0Last Updated: 19-May-2014 This VPAT applies to only version 8.0.2.x. It does not apply to any versions of Oracle Communications Connector for Microsoft Outlook after this. Oracle Communications Connector for Microsoft Outlook enables Outlook to be used as a desktop client with Oracle Communications Unified Communications Suite. Connector for Microsoft Outlook is a Outlook plug-in and MAPI(Messaging Application Provider Interface) service provider communicating with Oracle Communications Unified Communications Suite servers including Messaging Server, Address Book Server and Calendar Server to provide an integrated email client experience to the user. Many customizations are done to the Microsoft Outlook user interface to provide Oracle Communications Unified Communications Suite specific features and capabilities to the end users. The customizations include addition of new menu items, new ribbons, new ribbon controls , new dialogs containing various basic user interface elements such as buttons, text box, text labels, list box and separators. The product also includes a windows based deployment configuration tool to configure and create a installable deployment package. This package installs the Oracle Connector and creates/updates user's Microsoft Outlook profile to use the connector.
