Business challenges
Founded in 2020, Clinixir is the largest end-to-end solution provider of clinical trial services to Thailand’s Ministry of Health. It also works closely with several universities, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies across the country to offer scientific and regulatory advice to support protocols and clinical development.
With Thailand’s public sector undergoing a major push for digitization, the company was looking to establish a unified data platform for its clinical trial and safety operations and integrate with its recently selected Oracle NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
As a startup, Clinixir also needed help with optimizing its clinical trial budgeting, planning and management, monitoring, and analytics in order to achieve the best outcomes for its customers.
In addition, in the age of AI and machine learning, it was paramount for the Contract Research Organization (CRO) to manage and use data gleaned from the analytic tools to speed discoveries of new treatments.

Results
Clinixir now has a suite of Oracle clinical and enterprise applications at its fingertips, built on OCI. They include Oracle Argus, Oracle NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning, Oracle Siebel Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Oracle Life Sciences Clinical Development Analytics (CDA), Oracle Life Sciences ClearTrial, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Database, and Oracle Clinical One for Electronic Data Collection and Randomization and Trial Supply Management.
Currently, Oracle Siebel CDA running on Oracle Analytics Cloud manages reporting for Clinixir. The flexibility, speed, and real-time insights, along with other tools from the Oracle solution, have enabled the CRO to double its clinical trial efficiency and bring treatments to market quickly. Now, with everything running on OCI, instead of hiring three IT personnel to handle tedious system administration, only one IT staff member is needed to provide general support for Clinixir.
Also, thanks to Oracle the company now has access to a complete analysis of clinical trial data, the patient’s experience, and ultimately, the safety and efficacy of the investigative therapy. This enables the CRO to make sound decisions in a timely fashion.
