Oracle HeatWave opens up so many opportunities that the new challenge is to moderate our creativity. With technology at the core of our Dolphin Fitness DNA, our initiatives are no longer confined by infrastructural limitations thanks to Oracle's cloud platform and the exceptional support from the Oracle team.

Ali AriyanManaging Director, Dolphin Fitness

Dolphin Fitness is a dynamic retailer that connects health and fitness brands with their consumers. The company wanted to improve the scalability of its ecommerce platform, which allows brands to share targeted content, and to use AI to funnel the growing amount of user-generated content posted on its platform. Dolphin Fitness tested Google App Engine, but due to its complexity and scalability limitations, the company decided instead to migrate its on-premises infrastructure to Oracle HeatWave on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The company improved system scalability and productivity with the fully managed HeatWave MySQL database service. Dolphin Fitness plans to use HeatWave GenAI to automatically generate summaries of product reviews and improve search, and HeatWave Lakehouse to analyze user-generated content housed in object storage.
