Excelya accelerates research studies and manages trials with Oracle Clinical One
Contract research organization expands team to support 22 clinical trials with Oracle Clinical One.

The global contract research organization needed to rapidly expand its data management operations to support a European sponsor that had selected Oracle Life Sciences Clinical One for its data collection, randomization, and trial supplies management (RTSM). Clinical One’s intuitive user interface and built-in configurations allowed study designers to quickly learn the product. They then built clinical trials capable of accommodating multiple study designs, including crossover and multiple titration arms. Clinical One’s Java-based rules engine allowed the designers to create complex rules without the need to learn complex programming languages. For its complex oncology study designs, including a platform trial in the portfolio, Excelya enjoyed on-time go-lives with zero failures. Also, using accelerators from Oracle’s CRO Growth Initiative, Excelya’s team quickly grew from 6 to 50-plus employees, who provided quality study design as well as conduct and closeout services to the sponsor.
