Liantis relies on Oracle Database@Azure to strengthen security and resiliency
Leading HR services firm modernizes SaaS suite with multicloud Oracle Database@Azure to simplify IT and improve availability and efficiency.
“We operate within a diverse software landscape, with a significant portion of our applications relying on Oracle Database technology. Oracle Database@Azure delivers low latency connectivity to our applications running in Azure. We’ve reduced complexity while gaining a cost and performance structure that can scale with our growth, helping us concentrate more on product development and innovation.”
Liantis is a workforce solutions company that supports the startup and growth phases of more than 225,000 self-employed entrepreneurs and 45,000 employers in Belgium. It helps these young companies maintain regulatory compliance and implement ways to optimize HR operations. Liantis was looking to rearchitect its cloud disaster recovery environment to improve resilience and cost savings. By migrating disaster recovery from running on Oracle Database on Microsoft Azure’s memory optimized virtual machines (VMs) to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Database@Azure, Liantis was able to consume Oracle services just as if the company was part of Azure natively. This streamlined multicloud architecture provided extremely low latency, resulting in faster response times, better security controls, compelling cost savings, and scalability for production workloads. The company was able to use both Oracle and Microsoft licensing and discount programs, including Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitments (MACC).
