“Oracle Cloud Risk Management unifies access governance across Fusion and hundreds of systems, reducing violations while improving accountability. This lets us move at the speed of innovation while keeping our enterprise secure.”
Meta’s environment required consistent controls
Meta’s operations depend on secure, resilient systems as the business grows in scope and complexity.
As requirements and decision-making needs increased, on-premises systems struggled to keep pace. Meta wanted a more consistent way to manage finance and supply chain operations while maintaining governance.
Moving to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with risk controls
To modernize, Meta unified core financial and supply chain operations on Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and added Oracle Fusion Cloud Risk Management and Compliance.
Meta uses Oracle Cloud Risk Management and Compliance across 28 Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications modules and 200 additional applications to support access governance and cybersecurity assurance. The intent is to help teams work from consistent controls without relying on disconnected tools.
Automating access governance and continuous assurance
By using Oracle Fusion Cloud Application’s APIs, Meta interconnects financial, HR, and operational systems so preventive controls and continuous assurance remain centralized and active globally, regardless of where users access data.
Key capabilities described by Meta include ongoing analysis of user access to simulate Segregation of Duties (SoD) risk, automated reviews of role requests for Fusion and non-Fusion systems, cross-application SoD analysis, tracked exception approvals and compensating controls, and configuration controls that provide monitoring and audit trails of critical system changes.
For Meta, this approach helps process owners and risk teams work with unified, live information and respond faster to issues and audit needs. Meta also describes more centralized reporting for internal oversight and external audits.
Reported outcomes after deployment
Since deploying Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Risk Management and Compliance, Meta reports reduced SoD violations and access risks using AI-driven controls.
The company also reports less manual work for SoD and compliance reporting, stronger accountability by shifting decisions to business process owners, and improved audit readiness through continuous assurance and centralized reporting.
Scalable, preventive controls and monitoring are in place across 28 ERP modules and more than 200 applications. This provides unified governance, faster decision-making, reduced support costs, and access to quarterly updates.
Continuing focus on secure operations
Looking towards its future, Meta describes this work as supporting secure collaboration and the ability to scale into new initiatives while maintaining governance.
