Sencinet gains more operational efficiency with Oracle Cloud ERP
The network service provider simplifies reporting, automates tax processes, and reduces reliance on spreadsheets using Oracle Cloud ERP.
“Oracle Cloud ERP has a graphical interface that is highly praised by our users for being easy to find functionalities with shortcuts and screen menus, as well as for the ability to use it on a browser. The fact that it is a native cloud solution also has the advantage of not requiring installation nor management of local software on our employees' machines.”
Formed as a spin-off of British Telecom's domestic operations, Sencinet is an integrator of software-defined networks. The company has decades of experience designing and maintaining communications solutions for midsize and large companies throughout Latin America. Because of the dynamic nature of its business, Sencinet wanted to adopt cloud native software with an integrated system to modernize its finance processes. After meeting with Oracle technical and commercial teams, Sencinet determined that Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) was the most appropriate tool to meet its business needs. With Oracle Cloud ERP, Sencinet was able to reduce the number of satellite systems and considerably cut down on the use of spreadsheets, which allowed specialists to focus on more strategic tasks. Oracle Cloud ERP also brought automation to the invoice authorization process with the Brazilian Treasury Department. The company also improved its use of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, which helps users create reports more quickly and obtain real-time information about transactional data. This functionality helps teams understand patterns and get alerts about important events and anomalies.
