VPN for Multitenant Compute (Via Corente Cloud Services Exchange):

VPN for Multitenant Compute delivers trusted connectivity services between Oracle Public Cloud and the On Premises network using the Corente Services Gateway (CSG).

The Corente Services Gateway (CSG) is a distributed virtual appliance located at the network edge that provides secure endpoints for virtual private networks over any IP networks with zero-touch installation. A Services Gateway is installed at each branch or partner location, and creates a secure end-to-end connection for application traffic.

Alternatively, customers can use their existing On Premise third party VPN gateways to connect to the Oracle Public Cloud VPN Gateway (CSG).

The VPN for Multitenant compute provides the following functionality:

  • Policy based IPSec VPN
  • IPSec ESP tunnel mode
  • Automated key creation, distribution, and regeneration
  • Preshared Key for third-party VPN devices
  • Client- and server-side digital certificates with synchronous PKI
  • SHA-2 data authentication
  • 256-bit AES encryption
  • Instant key revocation
  • Perfect forward secrecy
  • Restricted tunnel backhaul internet access
  • Split tunneling direct internet access
