Oracle Content and Experience Cloud: Desktop 18.2

Product Description:

The Oracle Content desktop client enables synchronization of files and folders between the Oracle Content and Experience Cloud server and the local file system.  The application user interfaces are native to the OS, and supports Windows and Mac. 

The application runs in the background when all its windows are closed. There is a system tray icon that is used  for accessing features of the application. The user can launch a Choose Folders to Sync window which lists folders that are available for synchronization as well as folders that are currently being synchronized with the local desktop.

All synchronized folders are downloaded to an 'Oracle Content - Accounts' folder on the local file system.  The application adds a menu item to the local file system menu for all files and folders under the Oracle Content folder so that synchronization properties and features can be accessed directly from the file system. Icon overlays are also used on file and folder icons to provide a quick visual indication of the state of synchronized files and folders.  This information is also available from the properties dialog.
