Siebel's Accessibility features are available in several UI modes. Features for low vision and color-blind users are available in HI and SI Siebel UI modes. Screen reader support is only available when operated in the Accessibility Mode. This is based on Standard Interactivity mode with Keyboard Shortcuts enabled (SI+ mode), not on the High Interactivity mode. Detailed documentation about Siebel's accessibility features may be found in the manual entitled 'Siebel Accessibility Guide' in Siebel Bookshelf, which includes guides for how to set up, configure, and use the features. The specific browser and client environments currently supported are documented in the Siebel Core VPAT. Accessibility Overview The Siebel Reports solution is made up of the following components:- 1) Report template design. This is performed using Microsoft Word with the Oracle BI Publisher Desktop plug-in for this specific Siebel version integration. To make an accessible template certain guidelines for HTML output need to be adhered to. This is the responsibility of the template designer. The Siebel Accessibility Guide includes guidelines on designing accessible report templates. Accessibility of the Microsoft Word product is covered on the Microsoft website. For the Oracle BI Publisher Desktop plug-in, please consult the Oracle BI Publisher VPAT for compliance details. 2) Siebel integration to BI Publisher connector. This integration component is covered in this VPAT. 3) Document output formats. It is recommended in the Siebel application to set the default output format to HTML to ensure an accessible document is created. This is the responsibility of the administrator. 4) Standard Siebel Report templates. The Siebel application reporting solution includes109 pre-defined report templates. Of the 109, the following 5 have been made accessible:
The remaining 104 templates will need to be edited by customers to ensure they are accessible following standard report template accessibility guidelines. These guidelines are included in the Siebel Accessibility Guide. 5) Oracle BI Publisher Server Administration. This VPAT does not cover the administration of the BI Publisher Enterprise Server which has its own UI. This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:
