Barwon Health has successfully used Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for more than four years, starting with Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement to modernize their application experience for end users. This business transformation was implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization opted to use Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) to overcome the learning, engagement, and change management challenges for its staff and suppliers working remotely. With the influx of medical supplies needed, Oracle Procurement helped Barwon successfully issue PPE to all onsite staff, and OGL helped reduce service desk calls by 10X.
After a successful go live with Oracle Cloud, Barwon continued to use OGL to implement more Oracle modules and help ensure that the organization’s business processes and requirements are met by employees. OGL was instrumental for busy clinicians who needed to submit expense reports. OGL guided them through the process with extra attention so that the auditing team had all the necessary information once an employee hit Submit. OGL also gave teams visibility into the status of reports, eliminating the need for 1-1 outreach, and allowing for communication and tracking within the same application.
