Oracle Database Schema Cloud Service is part of the platform service offerings in Oracle Cloud. This is the Database schema-based service, providing a development environment for Application Express and RESTful Web Services. This product is comprised of the following:

  • Oracle Application Express
  • Oracle Database Service Console for Multitenant Services

Notes:

This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:
  • SQL Workshop Module of Application Express - Module used to maintain database objects for your applications. This is cited in the Application Express VPAT with some alternative methods of accomplishing the functionality, however due to the more restricted architecture of the Oracle Database Cloud Service Multitenant Edition, the only viable alternative here is to use the Cloud connection capabilities of Oracle SQL Developer. This allows a user to connect to the Cloud using REST services and create a connection to their Cloud instance. This does not offer all the same capability as Application Express SQL Workshop, but will allow the user to look at all the objects supported by the Cloud implementation and import into and export from the Cloud connection.

Recommended configuration: When using Oracle Database Schema Cloud Service with a screen reader, we recommend to use JAWS.
