Product Description:

The Oracle Communications Converged Application Server, Service Controller (OCCAS-SC)  is a service broker that provides real time service orchestration and mediation capabilities. With a versatile orchestration engine and portfolio of interfaces, the product dramatically reduces the amount of time and risk associated with migrating from legacy platforms. It enables communication service providers to launch innovative new services that blend legacy and IP networks with the IT domain.
Oracle Communications Service Controller includes the following Java interfaces for configuration and management:
* A comprehensive set of JMX Configuration Mbeans for configuration of OCCAS-SC
* A comprehensive set of JMX Runtime MBeans for management of an OCCAS-SC

Notes:

This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:

  1. OUI (Oracle Universal Installer) - this is the technology used to install OCSC. The alternative is to use the silent install option for OUI which is command-line.
  2. OCSC AdminConsole - this is a front end used to configure/manage OCSC. Any operation available via the AdminConsole is also available via the JMX Configuration MBeans and the JMX Runtime MBeans.
