E.ON, one of Europe’s largest energy companies, has selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to manage its global HR operations and deliver a more engaging and personalized experience for its 75,000+ employees. With Oracle Cloud HCM, E.ON will be able to centralize HR processes to simplify complex processes, generate better workforce insights, and improve the employee experience.

More than 47 million customers purchase electricity, gas, digital products or solutions for electromobility, energy efficiency and climate protection from E.ON. To improve workforce insights and decision-making, and better manage its growing workforce, E.ON aimed to take its HR processes to a new level and make them future-proof with a unified platform and connect data across multiple lines of business. After careful consideration, E.ON selected Oracle Cloud HCM to standardize all HR processes within a single application.

“With Oracle Cloud HCM, we strike a balance between complex architecture and a simple user interface,” said Dr Verena Stengel, program director for digital HR transformation at E.ON. “We expect not only more efficient processes, but also an improved user experience for our applicants, employees, and managers.”

Oracle Cloud HCM will enable E.ON to standardize its global HR operations and leverage built-in AI capabilities to automate processes, reduce time spent on administrative tasks, and enhance employee productivity.

The market environment for energy suppliers in Germany is undergoing a transformation. Digitalization is a key component of the sustainable energy transition. “E.ON is embarking on an ambitious project to transform its HR operations. Oracle Cloud HCM offers the flexibility and scalability that a company like E.ON needs to future-proof its HR processes,” said Niels Ole Jensen, vice president of applications Oracle Germany. “Oracle Cloud HCM will help E.ON better manage its growing workforce, make more informed data-driven decisions, and optimize the employee experience across the business.”

Part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, Oracle Cloud HCM is a complete solution connecting every human resource process from hire to retire across an organization with a native employee experience platform and embedded AI capabilities. By connecting all people, work, and skills data on a single platform, HR teams have access to a single source of truth to help inform their people strategy. In addition, embedded AI acts as an advisor to help analyze workforce data, generate content, and augment or automate processes to help improve business operations.
