This Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) pertains to the web client of the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.1x product line, running on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions 9.1.0.3 and above; it does not pertain to the development or administration of the Applications.

The latest patch set for both Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.1x and EnterpriseOne Tools 9.1 are required.  An Accessibility mode is available as a User Profile setting for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users. Additionally, users that run the JAWS screen reader require additional scripts available at http://www.oracle.com/accessibility/index.html. Please refer to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.1 Foundation Guide  for complete details.

This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:

  • Optional feature that provides graphical navigation options for users.

  • Optional feature that provides dynamic predictive suggestions for some data entry fields.
  • This functionality is fully covered via the standard JD Edwards EnterpriseOne visual assists.

Hover Forms:

  • Optional feature that provides dynamic pop ups forms when a user hover a mouse over a field.
  • The data available in the Hover form are available in other standard JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Forms and Applications.

Carousel:

  • Optional feature that provides a visual representation for open applications, favorites, and recent reports.
  • This functionality is fully covered via the standard JD Edwards EnterpriseOne menus.

Chart Control:

  • Optional feature that provides a visual representation of data.
  • This data is also represented in a textual format in other standard JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Forms and Applications.

PDF Output:

  • Generated output in the form of PDF is not accessible.

1194.21(d) Sufficient information about a user interface element including the identity, operation and state of the element shall be available to assistive technology. When an image represents a program element, the information conveyed by the image must also be available in text. 1194.21(e) When bitmap images are used to identify controls, status indicators, or other programmatic elements, the meaning assigned to those images shall be consistent throughout an application's performance. 1194.21(f) Textual information shall be provided through operating system functions for displaying text. The minimum information that shall be made available is text content, text input caret location, and text attributes. 1194.21(h) When animation is displayed, the information shall be displayable in at least one non-animated presentation mode at the option of the user. Product has been developed to conform to this standard subject to the remarks on the right.

Section 1194.22 Web-based Internet Information and Applications

1194.22(m) When a web page requires that an applet, plug-in or other application be present on the client system to interpret page content, the page must provide a link to a plug-in or applet that complies with §1194.21(a) through (l). The optional capabilities of Export/Import, and Attachment Viewer/Editor, are not coded to Section 508. These issues are reported on Bug ID's 13809885 and 13809907.

 
1194.22(n) When electronic forms are designed to be completed on-line, the form shall allow people using assistive technology to access the information, field elements, and functionality required for completion and submission of the form, including all directions and cues.
