SEBI, vide its circular dated November 03, 2021 (subsequently amended by circulars dated December 14, 2021, March 16, 2023 and May 17, 2023) mandated that the investors holding securities in physical form, shall mandatorily update PAN, Postal Address with PIN CODE and mobile number, bank account details, choice of nomination and specimen signature (KYC details). Folio(s) not updated with the KYC details shall be eligible to lodge grievance or avail any service request from the RTA only after furnishing KYC details.
