AEGEAN and its subsidiary Olympic Air carried 15.5 million passengers in 2023 to 180 destinations in 49 countries. For the 12th consecutive year, the airline was named Europe’s best regional airline by Skytrax World Airline Awards. Yet AEGEAN’s leadership felt that the company was leaving too many customer insights and signals untapped across its operations. AEGEAN Airlines ultimately adopted Oracle Unity CDP to unify customer data from multiple front-office and back-office data sources to provide a real-time, 360-degree view of travelers for improved marketing, sales, service, and loyalty experiences. With actionable customer profiles informing campaigns, AEGEAN launched its first CDP-powered campaign to help increase bookings among loyalty members. The campaign garnered over 1 million euros in bookings in a single month.
