Oracle Help Center (OHC), Self-Publishing Version is a software that provides the portal entry and interface pages (including category pages with lists) for user assistance and documentation content. It is also the software that:

  • Reconfigures certain HTML content pages
  • Provides the overall framework for Oracle Help Center
  • Provides basic and advanced search functions

The responses to many of the technical standards are based on functionality provided by underlying technologies; please see the ACRs listed in the Dependent Product section for more information.

1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus (Level AA)Partially Supports

  • Dismissible -The content is dismissed when moving the pointer or keyboard focus
  • Hoverable - When pointer hover triggers additional content, the pointer cannot be moved over the additional content without the additional content disappearing
  • Persistent - The additional content does not remain visible when the hover or focus trigger is removed.

The following defects were found:

  • JET-38954 - DVT tooltips fail accessibility criteria. The DVT tooltips do not meet the Persistent criteria. It does meet the Dismissable and Hoverable criteria
  • Bug 32556651 - Main menu and Account menu popups are not Dismissable, Hoverable, or Persistent
  • Bug 37449829 - Utility Bar Search Bar autocomplete list doesn't close when pressing "Esc"

  • Bug 37449826 - Utility Bar Menus keyboard navigation fails to focus parent entries in menus
  • Bug 37419070 - Safari Browser Keyboard Tab Navigation don't focus most elements in OHC pages
  • Bug 37455018 - Table of Contents treeview navigation with JAWS doesn't focus and narrates entries labels
