Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019

Name of Product:

Oracle Financial Services Reg Rep Data Sets and Governance for Asia Pacific and Middle East Jurisdictions, RBI Lombard Risk Integ, US Fed Reserve Lombard Risk, EBA OFS AGILE RP EBA 8.1.1.0.0

Product Description:

OFS Regulatory Reporting Datasets and Governance for Asia Pacific and Middle East Jurisdictions (OFS REG REP APME) offers regulatory reporting solutions for the Financial Institutions (FIs) in India, Australia, and Singapore.

Additionally, multi-jurisdiction institutions, using these integrated tools, are now able to establish a global regulatory report production platform integrated with a single source of truth and full data lineage no matter where they are situated or how many jurisdictions, they operate in. The OFSAA Data Foundation has all the detailed granular data which are used to aggregate and populate the report cells. This enables seamless drill-down and lineage from cell-level information to the source where the granular data was made available. The standardized classification rules used to derive the aggregated and calculated data is clearly visible.

Oracle Financial Services Regulatory Reporting for Reserve Bank of India –Lombard Risk Integration Pack (OFS REG REP RBI) helps the banks to comply with various guidelines issued by RBI, including BCBS 239 regulations. It provides integrating risk data reporting systems and enhances the accuracy of reporting in banks. OFS Risk Regulatory Reporting (REG REP) Solution helps in achieving the objectives by enabling preset steps based on the generalization of a set of solutions. This is made possible by Providing centralized data storage for risk data through relevant subject areas of Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF). Interfacing with a third-party reporting tool such as Lombard Risk Reporter Portal to build necessary template reports to meet the regulatory expectations.

The OFS REG REP US FED solution enables financial services organizations to manage and execute regulatory reporting in a single integrated environment. It automates end-to-end processes from data capture through submission with industry-leading solutions. It leverages Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) and Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (OFSDF) for managing analytical application data. The AgileREPORTER in Regulatory Reporting (REG REP) Solution enables firms to automate the final mile of the reporting process. It provides pre-built integration to Lombard Risk Reporting, eliminating the need for further manual intervention. The solution ensures data integrity allowing banks to focus more time on analyzing and gaining new business insight from their growing stores of data instead of preparing data and reports with the sole objective of meeting submission deadlines.

With the onset of regulatory requirements from a variety of regulators around the globe, financial institutions are struggling to keep up with the constantly changing regulatory environment and the regulators themselves are finding it difficult to analyze a pile of reports. In turn, the European Banking Authority (EBA) introduced a common standard of reporting: one for Financial Reporting (FINREP) and one for Common Reporting (COREP). The two standards use a very structured way of gathering data, and also introduced the Data Point Model (DPM) along with the relational database to provide standard meaning to all reporting elements.

On the lines of common reporting requirements as stipulated by the EBA, the European Central Bank (ECB) also came out to collect detailed credit risk data of Non-Natural Persons in a harmonized manner. ECB issued a regulation on May 18, 2016, widely known as AnaCredit (Analytical Credit Dataset) Regulation, to collect granular credit and credit risk data with effect from reporting date September 30, 2018.

While on one hand, ECB ensures to harmonize reporting requirements and implementation practices, on the other hand, it gives discretionary powers to the National Central Banks (NCBs) either to collect additional data or to provide derogations for small resident reporting agents.

This solution addresses the reporting requirements of both the regulators, EBA, and ECB. Also, it addresses the reporting requirements concerning AnaCredit as laid down by the Central Bank of Malta (CBM).

This solution enables financial services organizations to manage and execute regulatory reporting in a single integrated environment. It automates end-to-end processes from data capture through submission with industry-leading solutions. It leverages Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) and Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (OFSDF) for managing analytical application data.
