Mike Hichwa is responsible for the application development focus area of the Oracle database. He is the original architect and developer of Oracle APEX and the original author of popular Oracle web sites including AskTom.oracle.com, LiveSQL.oracle.com, and apex.oracle.com. He is SVP of development at Oracle responsible for Oracle APEX, SQL Developer, ORDS, SQL Net, database drivers including JDBC and .NET support. Mike is also responsible for pandemic systems development as well as various database cloud components and services.
Joel is responsible for the development and product management of Oracle Application Express (APEX). He has been at Oracle since 1996 and is the co-creator of Oracle Application Express. He is also a contributing author of several books on Oracle technology, including Expert One on One Oracle, Beginning Oracle Programming, and Mastering Oracle PL/SQL: Practical Solutions. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from the College of Engineering, Ohio State University. His passion is simple - Joel is committed to customer success with Oracle APEX, SQL and Oracle Database.
Tony Kirn leads a team of highly skilled Oracle database professionals for the Cloud Data and Shared Technology group in Telstra. His organization focuses on driving the evolution of API solutions, orchestration, public and private cloud adoption, common data platforms and data-driven solutions.
Tony recently worked on integrating Telstra’s Active Directory into APEX and deploying RESTful services and secure website navigation via HTTPS. Tony has worked with Oracle technology for almost two decades which includes Databases, APEX, and Oracle Enterprise Manager which he presented on at Oracle Open World 2013.
Scott clearly has a passion for Oracle APEX. In the time since he's left Forms behind, he's recorded a video series; written a book; trained developers around Australia; is an active forums participant; presented at conferences, written a variety of posts at grassroots-oracle.com, and has been recognized as an Oracle ACE.
Scott has been consulting with clients around Perth since 2000, enjoying his time with the Sage Computing crew for just over a decade. His recent projects include a suite of interconnected enterprise applications for the residential construction industry
John's research focuses on citizen developers, low-code development platforms, and digital process automation.
Prior to joining Forrester, John was co-founder and principal at Calabash, a Lean process consulting firm, where he used low-code development platforms to deliver transformational process improvement projects in over 20 industries and for some of the world’s largest companies. Before that, John was a program manager and solutions engineer for XPO Logistics, where he led projects for Fortune 500 clients applying best practices to the supply chain. John double-majored in music and business management and holds a BS from Elmhurst College.
Sekook Jang is a leader of the Digital Transformation Unit at JB Corporation. His organization focuses on system integration, development framework, cloud services and technical strategy for digital transformation across the customer satisfaction services. HRMS (HR Management System) was created using the Oracle APEX platform to extend Oracle E-Business Suite, which was based on legacy Oracle Forms and has now been migrated to multiple APEX apps under the HRMS name.
Using Oracle APEX, Sekook has built additional new functionalities for Career management, Teams for collaboration, Performance appraisals, Benefits and now employees' COVID19 tracking. He also worked as a leader of the Technical Consulting Group of Oracle Korea for 20 years.

Chaitanya is a Senior Principal Product Manager for Oracle APEX. He joined Oracle in 2005. Chaitanya has extensive knowledge and experience on various Oracle technologies such as Oracle Application Express, Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Database, Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Services, Oracle XML DB, Oracle Database XE, Oracle Database Vault, Oracle REST Data Services, and Oracle Fusion Middleware. Chaitanya is a seasoned technology professional with more than 16 years of experience in IT in various roles.
Chaitanya is a regular speaker at various global conferences like Oracle Open World, OTN Yathra, Oracle Groundbreakers Tour, Oracle Develop, Oracle Cloud World, OTN Developer Days, ODTUG, JavaOne, GIDS, and user groups such INOAUG and AIOUG. Bo is a Director in Oracle's Database Tools team working on the Application Express (APEX) product. She joined Oracle 4 years ago, and is the co-chair of the OPAL Seattle chapter and co-chair of the OPAL Board. Bo has more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology, have led development teams of more than 450 people, and led large scale programs from scratch, including the first mobile phone activation platform at Best Buy and the first Anti-Money Laundering platform at Amazon for 3rd party marketplace sellers. Bo is a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Agile Coach.
