Step 2: Activate Your MySQL Database Service
Now, you just need to activate your MySQL Database Service. You will be able to configure the desired architecture, high availability, networking configuration and other important parameters. In minutes, you will have your MySQL server up and running and fully managed.

Step 3: Export Your MySQL Database
This is as easy as running a few commands and saving your MySQL data in a file. An object storage bucket on Oracle Cloud will be used to have the data ready to be imported to your new MySQL Database Service instance.
If you are starting a new project from scratch and you don’t have any data to migrate, just go to the last step.

Step 4: Load Your Data to MySQL Database Service
Now, you just need to load the exported database file from the object storage bucket on Oracle Cloud to your new MySQL Database Service instance.
