Why Concepto Móvil Chose Oracle

The messaging provider found that Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) could support the company’s millions of daily transactions with the security that the company required.

OCI offered lower bandwidth costs than competitors, and 24/7 support and customer service, with immediate incident response required by Concepto Móvil’s customers.

Results

Since the OCI partnership began, Concepto Móvil has achieved more than 40% cost reduction—up to 60% in some cases, compared with operating services out of Concepto Móvil’s own data center. Adding a new physical server or launching a new feature, which used to take weeks or months, now requires mere minutes.

The company also has greater visibility into costs—quotations for new infrastructure capabilities used to require a week, and now they’re available in minutes from OCI.

Oracle support has helped Concepto Móvil increase transactions, which have tripled during the last year, from 40 to 50 million messages per month in 2019, to more than 160 million today.

Concepto Móvil has grown 380% in server capacity and 616% in storage on OCI. During the height of the pandemic, OCI provided additional employee safety. It can also manage infrastructure, platform, and services remotely, from anywhere in the world, without having to access a physical site.
