Oracle made it easy to set up, manage, and share data in the cloud with Autonomous Database. We were impressed by Delta Share data refresh and integration functionality that uses a minimum amount of compute, and thus resources, to increase productivity and revolutionize data sharing across various business units globally.

Mars Veterinary Health (MVH), a global division of the Mars confectionery company, operates 3,000 hospitals and clinics in over 20 countries. MVH’s mission is to advance the veterinary profession for the benefit of people, pets, and the planet. As veterinary operations expanded rapidly, MVH needed to streamline data processes from multiple sources to generate fiscal reports within strict SLAs. MVH centralized financial data by using MVH Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse,  integrating data from various sources and using OCI Data Integration as an  orchestration tool. With secure and simplified access to real-time data, which refreshes every 30 minutes instead of up to 24 hours previously, MVH can close fiscal reports within 2 days and share stakeholder reports by day 3. Furthermore, MVH optimized data sharing globally by adopting the Delta Share open protocol and Azure Interconnect, minimizing compute usage and costs across public cloud services and business units.
