    Michiel Muller

    Serial Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Picnic, Tango, Route Mobiel

    Serial entrepreneur Michiel Muller (1964) founded several companies that were highly disruptive in their markets. The first was an unmanned petrol station chain, Tango, which he set up together with his business partner Marc Schröder. After that they set up other disruptive companies, such as Routemobiel, a roadside assistance company, and Bieden & Wonen, an online auction site for houses.

    Michiel is also active as an investor in the startup community. He invested in companies such as Fashiolista.com, a fast-growing social fashion community and Vault79.com, another online auction site. He’s also a member of the Board of Directors of La Dress. Muller wrote the business book ‘Ervaringen van een serial entrepreneur’ (‘Experiences of a serial entrepreneur’) which was voted best business book 2010/11.

    Muller is a member of the advisory board of the Holland Program on Entrepreneurship HOPE (Erasmus University Rotterdam / TU Delft / Leiden University) and the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE University of Amsterdam / Free University / University of Amsterdam).

    Ray Wang

    Principal Analyst, Founder, and Chairman, Constellation Research

    R "Ray" Wang is the Principal Analyst, Founder, and Chairman of Silicon Valley based Constellation Research, Inc.  He's also the author of the popular business strategy and technology blog "A Software Insider’s Point of View". With viewership in the 10's of millions of page views a year, his blog provides insight into how disruptive technologies and new business models such as digital transformation impact brands, enterprises, and organizations.  Wang has held executive roles in product, marketing, strategy, and consulting at companies such as Forrester Research, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

    Bas Doorn

    Cybersecurity Expert and Founder, Keyn

    Bas Doorn has as background in criminology, computing science and information security. He has been working at the Dutch National Prosecutor's Office for the past five years as an expert on cybercrime. Most notably, he was one of the architects of the takeover of the darknet market 'Hansa Market'.

    He is currently working on Keyn, a young cybersecurity startup that aims to make logging into websites easier, faster and more secure.

    Rutger van Zuidam

    Entrepreneur, and Chief Executive Officer, DutchChain

    Rutger van Zuidam is owner of DutchChain, a leading blockchain business in the Netherlands. DutchChain’s mission is to improve society through blockchain-based solutions. It serves as a venture studio for smart ecosystems and organizes Europe’s largest open innovation programme for Blockchain: The Blockchaingers. Active in the area of Blockchain and Bitcoin technology since 2010, Rutger created the online magazine IntoBitcoin.com and introduced the first Bitcoin enabled Point of Sales system for bars and restaurants at the Bitcoin Café Groningen.

    As a Business & IT Management student at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, he was co-founder of online ticketing company Paylogic.com. Rutger currently serves as an advisor to the Investment & Development Agency for Northern Netherlands.

    Matthew Guest

    Monica Kumar

    Vice President, Database and Big Data Cloud, Oracle

    Monica leads the global marketing and sales programs and product marketing for Oracle’s flagship Data Management and Big Data Cloud portfolio. A veteran technology executive, she’s an expert in building, retaining and motivating teams for maximum performance. She believes that "empathy" is the most critical leadership trait and "managing" an organization is not the same as "leading" them. Monica was awarded as one of 2017 Powerful Women of the Bay by CDA Consulting Group as well as 2017 Women of Influence by The Silicon Valley Business Journal in recognition for being passionate about educating, empowering, and connecting with women in business and the community. She draws inspiration from her incredible family and friends who give her unconditional and non-judgmental support to strive to become a better person and excel in her career.     Thierry Buecheler

    Head of Innovation Strategy and Operations EMEA, Oracle

    Thierry is running the innovation strategy and operations teams for Oracle NEXT in EMEA and JAPAC. He builds on experience at the interface of business and IT in several sectors and industries. He was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Europe, North America and Africa and a visiting researcher at NEC Tokyo. Before that, he worked for two Swiss banks in the IT and strategy departments.

    He holds a PhD in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence from University of Zurich and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. In his spare time, he spends as much time as possible with his family and outdoors or he programs web and machine learning applications.

    Michael Connaughton

    Head of Analytics and Big Data, EMEA, Oracle

    Mike is the Head of Oracle’s Analytics and Big Data business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. His focus is on helping drive competitive advantage for Customers, Partners and Oracle. He particularly enjoys challenging ‘conventional wisdom’ and exploring what business benefits can be achieved through the creative use of enhanced information management and analytics.

    Martijn Vlek

    Senior Sales Director Cloud Platform, Oracle

    Martijn Vlek is the EMEA Sales Leader for the Digital Experience Cloud Portfolio in Oracle EMEA. The Digital Experience portfolio comprises all Oracle Process, Content, Portal, Mobile and Bot Cloud PaaS Services. Since 1995, Martijn has held various sales and sales management positions at Oracle in both the Netherlands and Ireland. In 2004, he joined the Oracle EMEA organisation where he had various Business Development roles and led the Data Integration Sales and Pre-Sales team. He studied Business Management at Radboud University in Nijmegen and City University in London, and is certified in Production and Inventory Management.
