Oracle is a top-ranked 5G core vendor in the OMDIA Market Landscape Report

Oracle has been ranked as a top vendor in analyst firm OMDIA’s Market Landscape 2022: Core Vendors report. As of late 2022, there were about 29 communications service providers (CSPs) that had deployed 5G core networks, while many others were in trial phases with their vendor partners. This report examines the current landscape of core vendors available to CSPs, ranked and evaluated by business performance metrics such as total core revenue, 5G share of vendors’ total core revenue, volume of 5G commercial deals, and number of new logos. Omdia also examined vendor portfolio breadth, looking at the categories of network functions, signaling, multicloud, automation, and SaaS for the 5G core.

With Oracle’s focus on working with CSPs to support a multivendor approach to 5G, it received among the highest scores in the business performance evaluation, particularly in the “5G share of vendors’ total core revenue” category.
