MuShop: Cloud Native Polyglot Microservices App
In this lab, you will learn how to deploy the MuShop App into a cloud-native microservice-based development framework leveraging the Oracle Cloud Native solutions. You will deploy an eCommerce application with polyglot microservices for each component of a highly scalable architecture leveraging Kubernetes and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components.
What can I expect at the MuShop lab?
This lab provides reference implementations and sample code for real-world development. The Mushop lab allows the user to experience Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services from within a single project and explore Cloud Native services offered by OCI.

- Create a Kubernetes Cluster on OKE
- Deploy an eCommerce microservices-based solution to Kubernetes (MuShop App) using helm
- Explore your App
- Expose your app publicly
- Monitor your Kubernetes Cluster and the deployed App
- Create a Function Application
- Clean up the deployments
Prerequisites:
- An Oracle Free Tier(Trial), Paid or LiveLabs Cloud Account
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) console
- Overview of Networking
- Familiarity with Compartments
- Basic conceptual knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
