Leading Australian wealth management company deploys Oracle Cloud HCM to enhance productivity and improve workforce insights
Oracle CloudWorld, Las Vegas and Sydney, Australia—18 September 2023AMP, a leading retail wealth management and banking business in Australia, has implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM)to support its purpose of helping people create their tomorrow. With Oracle Cloud HCM, AMP has centralised its HR operations and simplified complex processes with consumer-grade user experience to boost employee productivity and experience.
Founded in 1849, AMP has a long history of providing banking, super, retirement and advice services to millions of customers across Australia and New Zealand. Previously, with fragmented HR systems supporting its 3,000+ employees, AMP struggled with time-consuming manual HR tasks and lacked insights needed to optimally manage its workforce. To gain deeper HR insights and improve efficiency, AMP consolidated its HR processes with Oracle Cloud HCM.
“Our employees have come to expect intuitive technology and seamless processes – consistent with their home lives – and our previous HR systems weren’t hitting the mark,” said Malcolm Dore, director of people services, AMP. “We needed a platform that was able to streamline core people processes in a consistent and scalable way. With Oracle Cloud HCM, we have streamlined our HR operations and created a unified employee experience to significantly improve insights and productivity as the organisation looks to the future.”
With Oracle Cloud HCM, AMP has unified its HR operations on a single platform to increase efficiency, improve insights, and deliver a seamless, consistent employee experience. Oracle HR Help Desk, part of Oracle ME, has improved AMP’s service levels by routing employee inquiries to the relevant HR person to resolve issues faster and enable the company to track and measure resolutions on a regular basis. In addition, Oracle Talent Management has helped empower employees to direct their career paths at AMP with over 90 percent of employees using the new performance management system, up from 30 to 40 percent previously.
“Having to toggle between several different HR technology systems can create confusion for managers, employees, and candidates, ultimately wasting time and leaving key tasks incomplete,” said Meredith Rowan, vice president, Applications, Oracle Australia and New Zealand. "With Oracle Cloud HCM, AMP has created a more efficient workforce by connecting HR processes and providing employees with a cohesive experience, which has resulted in better workforce insights and decision-making."
