Navigate through this topic at your own pace.
Configuring the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management system is a threefold process:
1. Activate the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management system.
2. Run the Fulfillment Management Setup program (R4277706).
3. Set up advanced preferences for fulfillment processing.
You must set up the Fulfillment Entry advanced preference (41) to indicate the order types that you want the system to process through fulfillment.
Upon activation, the system creates the links between the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, and Fulfillment Management systems. Specifically, when you create a sales order, the system initiates order processing based on the setup in these various systems.
You must run the Fulfillment Management Setup program (R4277706) to insert data setup records into the Preference Values Definition table (F40711) and the OneWorld System Control File table (F99410). If the system is unable to insert data into the respective tables because the preference already exists, the system displays an error message in the PDF document.
NOTE: You run the R4277706 program for 9.0 release only.
When you run the Fulfillment Management Setup program, the system inserts setup data records for five advanced preference
types into the Preference Values Definition table (F40711). The advanced preference types are:
1. Fulfillment Entry (41).
2. Order Type Priority (42).
3. Line Type Priority (43).
4. Requested Date Age Priority (44).
5. Rounding Fulfillment (45).
When you run the Fulfillment Management Setup program, the system also inserts a single setup data record into the OneWorld System Control File table (F99410). The system uses data item SY42W to activate the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fulfillment Management system.
The system enters a value in the driver field and return field for each advanced preference:
• Fulfillment Entry (41): The driver field is Order Type (DCTO) and the return field is Allocation Process Flag (ALLOC).
• Order Type Priority (42): The driver field is Order Type and the return field is Order Type Priority (OTPRIO).
• Line Type Priority (43): The driver field is Line Type (LNTY) and the return field is Line Type Priority (LTPRIO).
• Requested Date Age Priority (44): The driver field is Order Age Days (OADAYS) and the return field is Order Age Priority (OAPRIO).
• Rounding Fulfillment (45): The driver field is and Business Unit (MCU) and the return field is Fulfillment Rounding Rule (FMRUND)..
