The personal calendar UI design should seem familiar to users of consumer-level calendaring applications from Google, Apple and Zimbra.
| My Calendar Miniview |
 |
The miniview, suited for placement in the regional area or on a dashboard page, offers users a compact daily view of their appointments. Users can use the arrows to navigate between sequential days, or they can use the date picker to jump to a specific date. The Today button will display the user's events for the current day. Users can create new appointments from here, as well as view and edit existing appointments. Clicking the "View My Calendars" link will display the full calendar view in a new browser window. |
| My Calendar Full View |
 |
The full view of the calendar shows the user's tasks (from the CAC Tasks component) on the left, and the calendar grid on the right. The calendar view can be embedded in the local area, but is also suited to be displayed in a new browser window, where the user can leave it open and reference it frequently throughout the day while continuing to work in the Fusion Apps in a separate browser window (or tab).
This calendar can be synchronized with the user's Outlook calendar.
The calendar view supports standard daily, weekly, monthly, and list views. All Day events are listed at the top of the calendar in a separate space. When users create new events, the standard Activities Appointment dialog is displayed (see Appointments section of this document). Users can change the currently displayed timezone, navigate sequentially through the calendar views, or jump to a specific date or date range with the date picker. A preferences dialog allows users to set things like default timezone. |
| Calendar Preferences |
 |
Users can set certain calendar preferences, such as the default timezone. (This feature is still undergoing functional and UI design.)
