The guidelines and patterns presented here will kick-start your knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications user interface (UI) design. They cover the key design concepts of Oracle Fusion Applications information architecture and page-level interactions. You can build an even deeper knowledge of any of these concepts via the referenced and related links in each document. All the documents referenced here are also available in the Design Patterns and Guidelines and Standards sections of the site.
Information Architecture (IA) These guidelines explain how the UI of an application is constructed modeled, and will help you to understand where the changes you want to make fit into its information architecture. The IA concepts begin at the application-level with the UI shell and Navigation Guidelines. Once you understand those two areas, you can continue to build your Fusion Applications IA knowledge at the page-level with the Work Area and Dashboards guidelines.
Page Content Once you have learned how Fusion Applications are modeled overall, you can delve into the details of page content and interaction. The patterns and guidelines in this section cover the most common interactions a user encounters while using an Oracle Fusion Application to complete their work. The first set covers interactions that are core across all pages - you'll see these most often referenced in other Oracle Fusion Applications User Experience patterns and guidelines. The second set is dependent upon the task the user is performing on the page.
