“Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse made it easy for us to set up, manage, and share data in the cloud. Our finance teams can zoom in and see the data they want in near real time, without having to go back to the system of origin. They can dedicate their time to analysis, not gathering and validating the data, to make decisions faster.”
As part of Mars Inc., a family-owned business full of animal lovers with 90 years of experience caring for pets, Mars Veterinary Health operates more than 3,000 veterinary clinics in more than 20 countries. As Mars Veterinary Health grew, it needed to consolidate financial data from multiple legacy systems to generate fiscal reports within strict SLAs. Mars Veterinary Health migrated to Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse, integrating data from Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning and about a dozen non-Oracle finance, procurement, and supplier systems using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Data Integration. With improved access to data that refreshes every 30 minutes—rather than the previous 4–6 hours—the company can close its fiscal reports within 2 days. Multicloud data integration, built-in security, and near real-time data updates enable its business teams to make faster and more informed decisions. At the local level, clinic teams spend less time on administrative tasks, lowering costs and allowing them to focus on pet care.
