Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall (AVDF) is a database security that consolidates audit event data generated by databases, operating systems, directories and database firewall traffic.

It is an APEX-based web application that provides Graphical User Interface (GUI) that allows Administrators to configure, manage and monitor state of deployment and their operations. The same GUI also allows Auditors to build security policies and access reports. The GUI is accessed via web browsers.

AVDF also has a Command-line Interface (CLI) that allows Administrators to configure, manage and monitor state of deployment and their operations. The CLI is accessed via terminal.
