Sonny Singh

Executive Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Financial Services

Sonny Singh has served as general manager of Oracle Financial Services since 2013, and was named executive vice president in 2019. In this role, Singh has worldwide responsibility for Oracle’s product portfolio for the financial services industry across banking, insurance, and capital markets. His organisation spans all business functions including product strategy, research and development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), sales, consulting, marketing, and customer service. In addition, his operational responsibilities include Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS), a publicly held company, where he is a member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to his current role, Singh was the senior vice president responsible for all functions in Oracle's go-to-market strategy, including product marketing, competitive intelligence, field enablement, and M&A integration across Oracle's entire product and services portfolio. His organisation delivered all of Oracle's strategic customer engagement capabilities, including solutions and expertise for all industry vertical segments; the Oracle Insight program, Oracle's branded value engineering competency; and Oracle Solution Centers. Additionally, his organisation was responsible for the expert resources, tools, and capabilities for two key market segments: Oracle Key Accounts and Midsize.

Prior to that, Singh was group vice president for Oracle Consulting, where he led Oracle’s services business in North America Strategic Accounts. Singh began his Oracle career in 1990 and has had held a number of leadership roles in Oracle’s consulting and sales organisations, focusing on Oracle Applications. Singh holds an MS in industrial engineering from Stanford University and a BS in mechanical engineering from Punjab University, India.

Juan Loaiza

Executive Vice President, Mission-Critical Database Technologies, Oracle

Juan Loaiza is executive vice president of mission-critical database technologies at Oracle. He is responsible for leading product strategy, development, and management for the world’s leading transaction processing and engineered systems technologies, in the cloud and on-premises. His team is focused on automating and converging database technologies to make application development and operations dramatically easier, saving customers time and money and allowing them to focus on what matters most to them.

Juan holds BS and MS degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1988, he left the MIT doctoral program to join the Oracle Database engineering team and has been an innovator in database technologies ever since. In his free time, Juan is an active supporter of more than 15 organisations around the world that work to conserve wildlife and wild places, including WildAid and Wildlife Conservation Network.

Maz Songerwala

Senior Vice President, Oracle Applications Service Experience

Maz Songerwala leads Applications Service Excellence at Oracle, which includes the global cloud support organisation and customer success. His team is responsible for ensuring that customers are successful across their entire journey with Oracle SaaS and on-premises applications, including implementation, go live, and ongoing value realisation. His team’s goal is a seamless and friction-free experience for our customers.

Prior to Oracle, Maz led customer experience at Palo Alto Networks. There he helped customers achieve their business outcomes through the adoption of security best practices; ensured an exceptional brand experience via self-service, community engagement, and digital portals; and developed tools and analytics to accelerate feature adoption and manage operational performance. Earlier, Maz held professional services, operations, business development, strategy, and services delivery roles at Cisco.

Maz holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and degrees in computer science from Columbia University (MS) and Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia (BS).

Nathan Thomas

Vice President, Product and DRCC/Alloy Customers, Oracle

Over the last 25 years Nathan has played key roles in three fundamental shifts in the technology landscape. First, as the Director of Sales Engineering and then Chief Architect of Red Hat, Nathan helped bring Linux and Open Source to the enterprise. Then, across a range of roles at Amazon Web Services he helped operationalise and commercialise cloud computing. This included time as the Director of EC2 Fleet, General Manager of Amazon WorkSpaces, and General Manager of Elastic Block Store. Finally, as the Vice President of Unreal Engine at Epic Games he helped drive the revolution of real time 3D rendering across video games, TV and movies, and enterprises.
