The Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) 1.2.2_xx has completed the Sun End of Life (EOL) process, in alignment with J2SE 1.3.1's EOL process.

JCE 1.2.2_xx is an optional package for use with J2SE 1.3.1. JCE is included and supported as part of J2SE 1.4.x and later. With this notice, customers are strongly encouraged to migrate to the current release. Read More.
