Oracle VM Manager is used to manage the Oracle VM x86 Server and Oracle VM Server for SPARC systems. Oracle VM Manager controls the virtualization environment, creating and monitoring Oracle VM servers, virtual machines (VMs) and other virtualization resources.

Oracle VM Manager offers two primary user interface types to manage Oracle VM Servers, virtual machines, and resources:

The web browser-based user interface (UI), which is an Application Development Framework (ADF 12c) web application.
A command line interface (CLI) which provides a text-based way to do most management operations that the UI provides.
