VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019
Oracle Data Warehouse Cloud Benchmark Kit is sample binary code that enables customers to easily run a benchmark workload derived from TPCDS (version 2.13) against their Autonomous Database and to visually see the runtime of all and individual queries and resource consumption for your environment. It allows to drill down into details like sql exeuction plans and to optionally see the anticipated cost based on your rate card.
The sample code allows the installation of the TPCDS schema in a customer's database and runs the TPCDS queries against it. The database environment is supplied by the customer.
The kit consists of a Java binary, template configuration files, and shell scripts. The java binary provides the visual representation of results, wherea sht shell script CLI is used for the installation and invocation of the benchmark kit to execute individual runs.
All necessary 3rd party components and Oracle components are not distributed as part of the kit and must be downloaded and supplied by the customer to make the sample code functioning.
