Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher is a reporting solution to author, manage, and deliver reports and documents. Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher is included in the Publishing and Reporting Option to Oracle Business Intelligence Server Enterprise Edition. The Reporting and Publishing option is included in Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus. Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher consists primarily of an HTML interface usable through a web browser. In addition there are Add-ins to Microsoft Word (BI Publisher Template Builder for Word) and to Microsoft Excel (BI Publisher Template Builder for Excel) to help with the tasks of creating RTF and Excel templates respectively. To create accessible reports, manually create an RTF layout following the guidance in the "Designing Accessible Reports" section of the BI Publisher Report Designer's Guide. HTML is the supported output type for consuming accessible reports. The Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher web/HTML interface provides an Accessibility Mode that can be enabled by setting the user preference "Accessible Mode" to On. With Accessible Mode On: -- Tables in the UI will show check-boxes to enable multi-row selection and subsequent action -- The Report Wizard is bypassed and users are prompted to select Data Model when creating a report -- The Administration link is not displayed
