VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019
The Oracle Service Cloud Customer Portal Cloud Service is a reference implementation, extensible framework and associated development tools for building out engaging, extensible, robust and high performance web customer service (web self-service and web assisted service) experiences for B2B and B2C (and variant) customer service interactions.
End-User interfaces are web pages built in a combination of PHP, XHTML, CSS and Javascript/AJAX. Accessibility features for this solution include Section 508/WCAG applicable features as stated below, support for screen-readers without re-direction to accessible versions of the page, and more advanced accessibility features like ARIA roles/landmarks, to provide good accessibility experiences to users, even in rich interactive experiences powered by AJAX.
This VPAT applies to only version August 2017. It does not apply to any versions of Oracle Service Cloud Customer Portal after this. This VPAT has been superseded by Oracle Service Cloud Customer Portal January 2022.
For the best magnification experience, Oracle recommends using the zoom functionality of Firefox.
Oracle's policy is to design, develop and test both products and documentation to be accessible. The recommended styles of testing for accessibility include: (i) algorithmic automated tests, (ii) human judgement tests such as tool-assisted tests, visual inspection and manual operation, and (iii) testing with assistive technology by people with and without disabilities. Additional information about Oracle's accessibility program is available on http://www.oracle.com/corporate/accessibility/index.html
